Data from official source

The Mignon Single Dose is a single-dosing grinder: it keeps no supply of beans; you weigh a dose, pour it in and grind all of it, one coffee at a time. It is built to leave as little as possible in the burrs: the body is tilted by 15 degrees, and at the end a puff of air pushes out what is left. What reaches the portafilter is freshly ground coffee, not the previous dose's leftovers, and you can switch beans from one cup to the next.

Adjustment is stepless: grind size moves by exactly as much as you need, even a hair, which is what espresso asks for. The burrs are 65 mm flats. The 45 g hopper stops beans from bouncing as the burrs catch them, and an anti-clump, anti-static treatment helps the grounds fall cleanly.

It asks for a scale and an extra step with every coffee, and has no dose counter or timer: it grinds what you give it. It is for someone who already weighs their dose, or wants to start, and likes changing coffees often; anyone who would rather fill a hopper once a week and press a button will be better off with a conventional grinder.
