The Barista Pro is a portafilter espresso machine with a built-in grinder: precision conical burrs, 40mm, offer 30 grind settings and load a professional-style 54mm portafilter with an integrated removable tamper. The Razor dose trimming tool levels off the excess grounds in the basket before tamping, so the dose stays consistent.
The ThermoJet heating system brings water to extraction temperature in three seconds, with electronic PID control keeping it stable through the shot; the temperature can also be adjusted by hand from the display. Pre-infusion is set by pressing and holding the one- or two-cup button for the desired time, then releasing it to start extraction, which can stop itself at a pre-set volume or on command. The portafilter ships with both single-wall filter baskets, for freshly roasted beans, and dual-wall baskets, for pre-ground or older coffee. The 360°-swivel steam wand stays manual: milk is textured by hand; a dedicated spout delivers hot water separately, for lengthening a shot or warming cups.
The removable 2-litre tank takes a replaceable water filter, and a dry puck feature drains excess water from the spent grounds after extraction, making them easier to knock out. The display flags on its own when the brew group needs a cleaning cycle, run with a dedicated disc and powder. It suits anyone who wants to grind fresh for every cup with electronic temperature control, while still handling tamping and milk texturing by hand.

Worth knowing
- The steam wand is manual: milk is textured by hand, with no automatic temperature or foam profiles.
- The brew group cleaning cycle, when the display calls for it, needs a dedicated disc and powder: a rinse alone is not enough. source
