The Sette 30 is the stripped-down member of the Sette family: the same 40 mm conical burr assembly made by Etzinger in Liechtenstein, with the outer ring burr rotating around a fixed cone burr, but with a single adjustment and none of the extra functions found on the 270 and 270Wi. The manufacturer describes it as built around the S1 burr, the same one used in the higher-tier Sette 270/270Wi models.
Adjustment runs across 31 settings, from espresso to finer manual-brew grinds such as AeroPress or V60, with a device holder that can be reoriented between the supplied bin and a portafilter. The digital panel sets grind time to a stated precision of 0.01 seconds. The manual specifies a duty cycle meant for home use: a maximum of 1 kg per day, with a 10% duty cycle for espresso.
The manufacturer states two power standards: 100-120 VAC 50/60 Hz at 200 W (2.6 A) for the North American version, and 220-240 VAC 50/60 Hz at 240 W (1.6 A, class I) for the EU/international version.
