Data from official source

The Zero is a single-dose grinder built around a pair of 63 mm conical burrs, housed in a compact aluminium body with real oak trim. The manufacturer describes it as "zero retention": a straight-through design with no internal cavities where ground coffee can collect, meant to deliver everything that enters the burrs back out. Grind adjustment runs on a continuous, click-free knob, the "infinite stepless dial", with no numbered steps: a single turn covers both espresso and filter grinds, and the manufacturer presents this as the centrepiece of the daily workflow.

Stated dimensions are 122x211x311 mm (width x depth x height), rising to 435 mm tall with the lid upright; weight is 4.1 kg. The tech-spec page also lists a grind speed of 1 gram per second, 72 dB of noise while grinding, and a dose consistency stated at within ±0.2 g - a figure the manufacturer itself notes, in a footnote, is based on independent test data rather than an in-house certified measurement. The UK version uses a G-type plug at 220-240V/50-60Hz; separate US, EU, AUS and JP variants exist at their own local voltages and frequencies.

The manufacturer does not state burr material, motor speed in RPM, or hopper capacity in grams: the official page focuses on workflow and external materials - the aluminium body and oak trim - rather than internal grinding-mechanism specs. Anyone after those numbers needs to look at independent reviews or a teardown, because the official spec sheet on the Niche Coffee site does not cover them.
