Rocket Espresso Bicocca

Bicocca is the flagship of Rocket's domestic range: two independent stainless-steel boilers (one for coffee, one for steam) and an electrically heated group with PID control, which the manufacturer describes as keeping temperature constant from the first cup of the day to the last, even under continuous use. Stated dimensions are 40.9 × 46.5 × 40 cm at 35 kg, with a rotary pump, in a body designed by Valerio Cometti+V12 Design. The manufacturer states 220-240V/1600W for the EU version and 115V/1600W for the US version, with no single figure valid everywhere.

The water tank holds 1.8 litres and can be paired with a direct plumbed connection, so the machine does not depend solely on manual refilling. Control runs through a 3.5-inch touchscreen, from which up to two volumetric recipes can be programmed — beverage volume, pre-infusion and extraction time — meaning pre-infusion here is software-programmable rather than a passive mechanical device tied only to spring pressure.

Rocket also states the heated group brings the machine to temperature in roughly 8 to 10 minutes, but since this is a range rather than a single figure it was left out of the structured attribute data. Group type (E61 or otherwise), portafilter diameter, operating pressure and the presence of a pressure gauge are all left undeclared by the manufacturer, data that other Rocket models, such as the Giotto FAST, do state explicitly.
