Baratza Sette 270

The Sette 270 uses a pair of 40 mm conical burrs made by Etzinger in Liechtenstein, mounted in a redesigned grinding assembly where the outer ring burr rotates around a fixed cone burr. The manufacturer describes a straight-through grind chamber that drops ground coffee directly into the portafilter or bin, with the stated aim of minimising residual coffee in the system, though it gives no gram figure to quantify it.
Adjustment runs across 31 settings, from espresso to manual-brew grinds for methods such as AeroPress or V60, connected directly to the cone burr for an immediate response. The convertible device holder accepts portafilters from 49 to 58 mm, the supplied bin with a usable 120 g capacity, or devices such as the Hario V60 or Kalita Wave. The digital control panel has three programmable buttons for grind time, accurate to 0.1 seconds.
The manufacturer states two power standards: 100-120 VAC 50/60 Hz at 200 W (2.6 A) for the North American version, and 220-240 VAC 50/60 Hz at 240 W (1.6 A, class I) for the EU/international version. Dimensions are 13 x 25 x 41 cm (width x depth x height) for a weight of 3.2 kg; the manufacturer lists design in Seattle, assembly in Taiwan and burrs made in Liechtenstein, backed by a one-year warranty. Neither grounds retention in grams, motor speed, nor the exact burr alloy are disclosed beyond "conical".
