YOU is described by Sanremo as a single-group, multi-boiler "taste laboratory": both boilers, the one for coffee and the one for auxiliary services, are AISI 316 stainless steel and fully insulated. The manufacturer states very high thermal stability (±0.2°C) thanks to a static relay temperature control system — the closest published equivalent to PID control, allowing temperature to be regulated as precisely as possible via a static relay. Stated dimensions: 32.8 × 54.2 × 39.3 cm at 32 kg net weight (36 kg gross), drawing 2200W in the 220-240V/50-60Hz version (110-120V/1650W and 100V/1450W versions are also available for other markets).
Pre-infusion is electronically managed through a front paddle lever under electronic control: 6 standard profiles plus 12 fully customizable profiles across all 3 extraction phases, with the option to fully disable pre- and post-infusion. The machine ships with a 2.5-litre tank and is also set up for a direct mains connection, in three possible configurations (tank only, mains only, or both). The pump is described by the manufacturer as a 24V "volumetric" pump, with no further detail on its internal mechanism.
Sanremo does not specify brew group type (E61, saturated or otherwise), portafilter diameter, operating pressure, or heat-up time; pump type likewise cannot be mapped to any of the standard categories used here, staying described only generically as volumetric in the official documentation available.
