YOU is a single-group machine with a multi-boiler architecture: a 0.5-litre coffee boiler and a 1-litre boiler for auxiliary services, steam and hot water, both in stainless steel and fully insulated. An electronic control system keeps the coffee boiler's temperature stable. Pre-infusion is handled by an electronically controlled front paddle lever: a profile can be created or changed by moving the paddle in real time, or recalled from 6 presets or 12 fully customisable profiles across the three extraction phases, down to disabling pre- and post-infusion entirely.
Water can come from a 2.5-litre tank, a direct mains connection, or both together. A dedicated spout mixes hot and cold water for tea and herbal infusions. The pump is volumetric.
Cleaning the group just takes a button press: a small amount of water is dispensed to keep it clean, and there is also a programmable automatic cleaning cycle. When idle, the machine can switch itself off on a weekly schedule, or drop into stand-by or Eco mode, which holds a lower temperature so it can restart faster. Standard finishes are black or white; other colours need a separate accessory kit. It is a machine for anyone who wants to build and save their own extraction recipes with the paddle lever.
