Baratza Encore ESP Pro

The Encore ESP Pro brings stepless adjustment to the Encore line: 40 mm M2 conical burrs are integrated into a mechanism the manufacturer describes as high-resolution with near-infinite precision, replacing the numbered clicks of the other Encore models. The DC motor spins at a stated no-load speed of 550 RPM, one of the few speed figures Baratza discloses on a home-tier grinder.
The hopper holds 200 g when installed, but can be removed for a single-dose mode with only 45 g of beans sitting in the burr chamber; the manufacturer describes two hands-free grinding modes, one single-dose with auto-stop and one timed to 0.1-second precision. A removable flow-control disk and ion-generation anti-static technology round out the feature set, alongside a tool-less quick-release burr assembly.
The manufacturer states two power standards: 100-120 VAC 50/60 Hz at 130 W (0.8 A) for the North American version, and 220-240 VAC 50/60 Hz at 130 W for the EU/international version. Stated dimensions are 13 x 15 x 34 cm for a weight of 3.08 kg; the manufacturer lists design in Seattle, assembly in Taiwan and burrs made by Etzinger in Liechtenstein. Warranty is one year in the US and two years across EMEA and APAC. Neither grounds retention nor the exact burr alloy are disclosed beyond "M2 precision steel".
