The Ride is a dual stainless steel boiler machine: 0.75 l for coffee and 1.0 l for steam and hot water, each with independent PID control. Preinfusion is available in both active and passive modes, and the brew group is Profitec's own proprietary design with a stainless steel mushroom.
The pump is a vibration pump, and separate gauges cover boiler and pump pressure. The water tank holds 2.8 l with a built-in adapter. The manufacturer states 230V/2100W for the EU/UK/CH/AU version and 115V/1700W for the US version, with no single figure valid everywhere. It measures 30 x 45 x 37 cm without portafilter for a weight of 28 kg.
The manufacturer does not state heat-up time, brewing or maximum pump pressure, portafilter diameter, a 3-way valve, or a plumb-in option: information absent from the official product page.
