Domobar Junior is the mid-range machine in VBM's (Vibiemme) Home line, sitting between the entry-level Domobar and the dual-boiler Domobar Super. The manufacturer describes it for those who "already an enthusiast" want "the right balance between coffee dispensing and milk frothing." The boiler uses HX technology: the manufacturer states that "HX (Heater eXchanger) is the most efficient of the traditional dispensing systems available on the espresso machine market. It keeps the unit at optimum temperature and, in combination with the E61 group, it provides an excellent mechanical pre-infusion." The group is the same VBM - E61 fitted to the base Domobar, with a mechanical pre-infusion chamber and a 58 mm portafilter.
The official datasheet lists a 1.1-litre coffee boiler, versus 0.5 litres on the base Domobar, and a fitting that includes both a steam wand and a separate hot-water wand or tap. Declared dimensions are 25 cm wide, 43 cm deep and 42 cm high, for a weight of 26 kg; declared power draw is 1600 W at 240 V, 50/60 Hz, higher than the base model's 1400 W due to the larger boiler.
Domobar Junior is likewise available in an Analogica version, with a pressure gauge and lever steam wand, or a Digitale version, with an OLED display and screw-tap controls. The manufacturer does not state brew pressure or the presence of a PID controller in this document.

The group diameter has no tolerance: only what is declared for 58 mm will fit.
